New born babies must be given a lot of nutrient rich food and the doctor's specify a baby eating chart for the good health and growth of the baby. The breast fed milk has so many nutrients in built and the mother forms the first major source of nutrient in the baby eating chart. The next major nutrient in the baby eating chart is that of the various vitamins including Vitamin A, Vitamin B6, Vitamin C, Vitamin D, and Vitamin E. All the vitamins are essential for heart, teeth, brain and bone growth. Folic acid is of utmost importance during periods of pregnancy and mothers are encouraged to eat a lot of cereals and lentils. These can be given to the baby also as specified in the baby eating chart. Iron is a vital nutrient to build energy and bones growth and cereals are rich in iron. The other vital nutrients as specified in the baby eating chart include magnesium, potassium, phosphorous, manganese, riboflavin, thiamine and zinc. Each of these nutrients are essential for the growth of various organs of the body of the baby and the diet needs to be strictly followed for the welfare and proper growth of the baby.
