Munchkin Mozart Magic Cube Our small baby loves music, so I think this will probably be a terrific toy for her. It is large and effortless to use, and we had something a bit comparable for the boys. It plays French horn, piano, flute, and violin sounds and has nice rounded corners so no one gets hurt. You can also have all of the instruments play at once with an orchestra button; I think she is going to love this.
Melissa & Doug Pretty Purse Fill and Spill I knew some thing was unique when my wife asked me to get this for the babynamely, we actually did have a new baby girl within the family! I was so used to having baby boys, so this was a wake up call. Although this may be a bit old for her, I think with some supervision this is going to be a fun toy for her, plus it brings out her girly side in a home where the boys outnumber the girls.
Playskool Explore and Grow Busy Ball Popper We had the older version of this for our first two kids, and they loved it. I do not know where ours went, but I think the reason it disappeared was that the balls had been all lost, and you definitely need the balls that came with it to get the most out of the toy. I also discovered this relaxing as a parent, and I confess to playing with it myself. Playskool constantly puts out a top quality product, and as lengthy as this is the exact same as our older model, I can without pause give it a thumbs up.
Geomag GBaby Baby Farm 19 pieces - GBaby is a firm that I had not heard of prior to my wife brought this to my attention. It looks pretty awesome, though, as a baby toy with magnetic shapes and rubber animals (teething) that present a nice rattling sound. They're bathtub and dishwasher safe for effortless cleaning (not that my wife lets the kids have bath toys). Manufactured in Sweden and looks pretty darn cool even if the eyes of the animals are a bit large. I believe this will probably be a excellent toy for the baby to get those motor abilities going, and if this works out they've some other sets we may possibly get. A business I have to discover additional about.
Yookidoo Stack Flap N Tumble - Some reviewers don't like this product, but I bought it, anyway, as I am a fan of the parent organization that makes the product. Plus all of the parents who think the child has to stack them up have no imagination; this does not have to be the case, as we have fun interacting with the baby by being the 1 that stacks up the toy and let the baby knock them down. Plus I also believe this will probably be a good toy for our older boys (almost 5 and 7) to interact with baby. Now we just have to ensure we don't lose the balls, as they appear to get eaten up in this home by some blackhole I do not know about. I will let you know about this toy after the holidays on how we all like it.
Now Baby L will be obtaining a bunch of other issues from the grandparents, so we try to not go overboard the very first holiday. Thus this is our Infant Christmas Gift list for 2010. If we choose to add on to it you may possibly see another post in December sometime.
