Teething At 3 Months

Teething at 3 months generally doesn't start. In teething process new teeth of small babies grow in a sequential pattern. These teeth come out of the gums by breaking them. Reports say that teething can start from third month of birth in early teething and late teething takes place as late in twelve months. Generally teething starts between six to ninth month of baby. For teeth to emerge from gums body uses certain chemicals which let some of cells to die and teeth emerge out by cutting through these dead cells. Teeth in babies appear in pairs. The first teeth that appear are two lower centre incisors. It is said that milk teeth appear earlier in female babies than male babies. Upper centre and upper lateral incisor teeth grow after lower center incisors. After this lower central incisor teeth appear. Second molars are last pair of teeth to appear. Starting of teething at 3 months is generally considered as hereditary.

Teething At 3 Months

Every child has different ability to handle pain. So, some babies cry more while teething while others feel less pain. Swelling and soreness of gums during teething is the cause of pain for infants. These symptoms are observed few days before actual teething starts. With the emergence of tooth out of gums, these symptoms disappear. Drooling, frequent changes in mood and irritability shown by babies are common symptoms of start of teething. Mild fever, sleepless nights are generally observed in infants during teething. Start of teething at 3 months may continue up to three years of child birth. You can easily identify that your child's teething has started. There are certain common symptoms which are generally shown by infants during teething. They chew their toys, blanket and whatever they can hold. This helps in gums to separate and let new tooth come out of gums. When large molars appear then at this time more pain occur as these teeth do not easily penetrate gums and comes out of it. 

Before going for treatment of your child's teething problem you should first make sure that your child is actually bothered with teething problem or is there any other problem. For keeping your child safe from swallowing toy parts you should give them teethers which are specially designed so that your child is no able to swallow.
